HTC One S coming to India for Rs 33,000 in June: Reports

Following the launch of its One X mobile device in India,the HTC One S is next on the cards, with NDTV reporting that the mobile store website has listed it as being available from 8 June at a price of Rs 33,000.
HTC has not officially made an announcement with regards to the release of the phone in India, which is being marketed as the thinnest phone to have been manufactured by HTC. The HTC One S runs on Android's Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System and comes equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 8 Megapixel camera and 1000 HD video recording capability. It also has a4.3-inch screen, with a540 x 960 resolution. And for all this the phone weighsonly 119g! The phone also contains 16GB Internal memory, 1GB RAM and Beats Audio, a branded equalizer that boosts bass in particular. Reviews of the phone have been largely favourable, with Techradar.comcalling it a brilliant phone. Endgadget concurred, saying "Sporting a thinner and lighter design, the One S doesn't deserve to be hidden in the shadow of its pricier brother. (The HTC One X). The phone does not sport as good a screen display asthe One X, but according to Endgaget is priced much more competitively and sports better battery life in addition to hosting a whole new range of features that render it able to compete with any smartphone in the market.
